ABOUT THE SESSION

The time for change is now, we must tackle our impact on our planet, ecosystems and communities. All businesses should be changing their practices and operations to ensure that they are incorporating circular design methodologies but for established large scale businesses, this will take time. Change is hard and people are reluctant. 

So don’t look to change these organisations from within. Create a network of likeminded individuals, adopt new design approaches (circular/closed loop design), get organised and start taking the market share from these giants of yesteryear. 

A network is only the starting point. Turn it into your business. Don’t think charity or pro bono work, expect the same relationship as any other business and change our business practices so circular design, design for good, isn’t a ‘nice to have’ but business as usual approach.
