The Service Design Fringe Festival is a platform to catalyse positive change in the world
It does this by working with designers and changemakers to deliver events that exemplify and explore the role of service design in bettering the lives of people and the planet. Also by connecting people with others who can support them with their work.
This festival is for anyone who cares about using service design to make the world a better place for all. We do our best to be as inclusive as possible and so will be delivering the 2020 festival online. We also want to do more for the people who are delivering events so our proceeds will go towards paying panelists and keeping the festival afloat. Contact us if you would like to attend but cannot because of the ticket cost.
OUR VALUES
We believe in being open and diverse, being accessible and inclusive, staying creative and curious, having honest conversations, broadening and deepening perspectives, encouraging activism, pushing boundaries, bringing people together, and collaborating, not competing.
PREVIOUS EDITIONS
The Service Design Festival has been organised since 2014. Lior Smith set it up to increase recognition, employment and the critical value of service design.
