‘Systems thinking’ is a term we hear all the time. Whether you are a service designer or an architect, the ability to think holistically, visualise relationships, make unexpected connections, and uncover hidden opportunities are essential skills that every designer needs.
This hands-on workshop has been developed for designers who are looking for tools to help them strengthen their system thinking and creative research skills. We’re bringing together service designers, architects and urban planners to investigate ‘city systems’ through a series of interactive design exercises including field research, visual system mapping and modeling, and ideation.
If you’re interested in cities and creative problem solving, experimenting with design research methods and learning new tools and techniques that you can apply in your practice, this workshop is for you.
BONUS! There will be a world food market taking place in the venue immediately after our workshop! Stick around for delicious food and support local food start-ups!
